Alex {Seniors 2012}

Aug 26, 2011

I must say, I was super excited and honored when I got an email from Alex’s mom to do the last of the Thieme kids’ senior photos. I graduated with Jenny, one of Alex’s older sisters, in 2003 (love her BTW…So adorable!!) and I could not believe how much Alex reminded me of her!! Super outgoing, great sense of humor, talented, respectful, and so handsome, I couldn’t have picked a nicer kid to photograph! Alex and I met downtown for his fun and urban senior session, with his guitar in tow. I was impressed by his mad skills as he rocked out a Green Day song (Good Riddence? Correct me if I’m wrong hah), while I was shooting and informed me hadn’t been playing for that long. Sure could have fooled me! I had a fabulous time chatting with Alex throughout his session and we mutually agreed that Saginaw needed some more non-chain restaurants. haha Though he did tell me about a great Vietnamese restaurant that I have to try….hmmm perhaps next time I’m home I will HAVE to go!! Anywho, thank you Alex for a fabulous session and good luck in your upcoming senior year and soccer season!!

Love that grin! A gust of wind blew while I was talking, and I inhaled a piece of my own hair…needless to say…this is the resulting expression. 😉 Thanks for laughing at my misfortune Alex…geez…I take it all back… lol

    I go to Hopevale and somehow saw your work from Facebook. Do you do some work in Saginaw when you visit? Thanks!
