I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kira and her mom Anna last week for a fabulous fall session at Dow Gardens!! I graduated from high school with Kira’s cousin (who is married to my husband’s cousin) and was delighted to hear that she had recommended me for the job! Thanks Jenny!! When discussing some ideas before her session, Kira had mentioned that she LOVES to read and wanted to incorporate some of her favorite books. With a bibliophile husband, this resonated with me and I was super excited to try something with books! So we lugged 2 full bags and a box of her favorite book series’ out into the gardens so they could also get in on the photo action. 😉 After a few with her well read books we proceeded to just wander through the gardens chatting and taking pictures along the way. I found out that Kira plans to attend college at Lake Superior State University in the U.P. and that she LOVES the fall and winter. 😉 I think she’ll love it up there ;).
