At the end of our first day of driving back home to South Bend, we took the opportunity to get out and see the stars under the big Montana sky. There was a meteor shower (though I don’t think you can see any in these two photos) and we got to see the Milky Way. Besides being terrified by a deer and every random sound in the pitch blackness, it was a pretty amazing sight.

The next day, we made our way to Yellowstone where we spent the entire day, and into the night, driving through the park. Thankfully with no incidents with all those bison roaming around and the complete lack of cell service. 😉
