This is my LOVELY friend Kim, a conservation architect from California, also braving the lovely South Bend winters for her man while he’s in business school. 😉 One of her current projects is the Historic Rushton apartment building in downtown South Bend.  The Rushton, built in 1906, was the first “high rise” in South Bend, towering at a whopping 4 stories. After years of vacancy, the Rushton is getting new life as an apartment complex for moderate income seniors. After seeing a few photos of this gorgeous and rustic building in it’s restoration process, I knew I just HAD to take some photos inside before it’s completion. Kim was my ticket in and got to be my beautiful model for the shoot. 😉 Thanks!!! I cannot wait to see the building once it’s done. And I thought that I had a fun job!
