Jack + Kellen {Newborn Twins}

Sep 2, 2011

There are two things in my life that I always knew I wanted to do – Something in the art world and to be a mom, since I’m not quite ready for the latter, I’ve decided to live vicariously through all the new mommies and daddies in the family (as Jill put it “probably get more sleep”) and do the photography thing. 😉 I think its a win win situation. I introduce to you Jack and Kellen, Jill and Mike’s beautiful twin miracles. Born at 27 weeks, these two little fighters worked hard to get out of the hospital and home with their parent where they belong. They had lots of prayers and angels watching over them during their 108 days under nurses care and have finally been reunited (“and it feels so good” – I couldn’t resist) with Jill and Mike at last. I met with Jill and her men in Saginaw a couple of weeks ago for a semi-newborn session. I had big plans – Jack and Kellen had different ones. They did NOT want any part of being unclothed, outside, after a long drive and proceeded to tell us in the only way they knew how. Who wouldn’t want to be poked and prodded and shoved in a basket? I’m just sayin’…;) Despite their unhappiness with me, I think we managed to get a few good pics of these perfect little boys. Thanks Jill and Mike for letting me bug your children, but most of all for giving me the chance to hold Kellen later in the day once they jointly decided it was safe to sleep without being disrobed and stuffed into baskets. They are such sweethearts and absolutely melted my heart!! I’m in love. Congrats again and I look forward to watching double trouble grow up (but not too fast)!! Enjoy!!
