After over a month of staying here in Chicago, Patrick and i decided to make the trip to see some family and spend the weekend at his family’s cottage in Michigan. The weather wasn’t particularly cooperative so instead of swimming and boating as we would usually do, we hung out with his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, parents, and siblings. After dinner, Patrick and I, accompanied by 2 of his cousins who grew up in town, ventured off to find some interesting locations and shoot some photos. We had a great time just joking around and exploring and even got reprimanded by the police for trespassing (EEK!!!). They knew we were doing no harm but asked us to leave anyways for our own safety – which was probably wise considering my husband’s affection for climbing things that lie unguarded – like ladders leading up the side of grain elevators….Thanks again Jason and Keith for posing and showing us some great spots to shoot!
