Katelyn {Seniors 2013} | Saginaw Photographer

Sep 5, 2012

Besides being a record week of sessions for this photographer, it was also a week of crazy mishaps during sessions and Katelyn’s session was no exception. When we arrived at the park Katelyn’s seemed a little stressed – walking through a field in heels did little to quell her stress level, then add a super humid day with no breeze to a killer swarm of blood thirsty mosquitos and you’ve got a situation too ridiculous to NOT laugh. Now, I hate mosquitos as much as the next guy, but I can generally deal with them. However, these mosquitos….they had a vendetta against us. They were were too unrelenting to not have motive. Katelyn was a trooper and deflected the mosquito infestation with charm and grace and you can’t even tell she, her mom, and I were all being eaten alive. I’m fairly certain I have West Nile. Just sayin’… Anywho, despite the crazy insects we managed to turn an unbearable situation into an amazing session and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Katelyn seriously has a knack for modeling and is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Her and her mom were such a riot and I ADORED every second of this session – despite the hours and hours I spent scratching the resulting bug bites all week. Thank you Katelyn and Susie for a fabulous session!!! I seriously had a blast!!! Enjoy your preview!!
