CJ {Seniors 2012}

Oct 25, 2011

As you might know, my sister Jordanne is also a photographer, and though we might have separate businesses, we’re far from each other’s competition – she shoots predominantly weddings and I shoot predominantly seniors. This puts us in the advantageous situation to meet new people and get new clients as referrals (I send the wedding requests I get her way, and she sends the seniors my way). One such referral, that I had the absolute pleasure of working with, were CJ and his mother Lori (brother Jimmy too!). A senior at Birch Run High School (first BR student – woot woot!), CJ is a runningback on the football team and one heck of a nice kid! We broke his session up into two parts – “under the lights” and the second half on his family’s gorgeous property, complete with a pond, breathtaking fall colors, and even a baseball diamond! It was the perfect backdrop for a uniquely personal senior session.

For the second half of his session, mom (Lori) and CJ’s older brother, Jimmy, got to get in on the fun for a mini family session as well. Two handsome young men and one awesome mom made this session absolutely perfect! Thank you to CJ for being such an awesome model, for putting up with my craziness, and for making you squat with bad knees. I am a terrible person. I apologize, but it’s a small price to pay in the name of photography. haha Enjoy your preview!!
